Our Molded Rubber Products Division rounds out our trio of custom manufacturing services. We manufacture tiny parts that weigh a fraction of a gram as well as large parts weighing hundreds of pounds. Some of them find their way into medical devices, some help to irrigate a farmer's field, and some wind up orbiting the earth in sophisticated communications satellites, or on the airplane that took you on your last vacation. Compression, Transfer and Injection, we do it all.
Yes, we do make o-rings. Most of them, however, are not the normal o-rings you'll find in your local hardware store. We specialize in custom o-rings that the other guys don't or won't tackle. Standard and custom sizes out of exotic or highly specialized materials are what set us apart from the crowd. We also manufacture custom micro o-rings with cross sections as small as .018 inch.
U-cups, V-Cups, peripheral seals, interfacial seals, piston seals, pump seals, the list goes on and on. Whatever shape or size seal you need, chances are that we can make it.
Also called Mass/Void or Volume/Void Seals, these are metal or plastic plates with a rubber seal bonded directly to one or both sides. Commonly used for metal to metal flange sealing applications, composite seals are capable of withstanding extremely high pressure and adverse conditions.
Using specially formulated compounds, we can bond all kinds of rubber to almost any kind of metal, as well as plastic, glass, ceramics, fabric and many other materials. Using our proprietary CALBOND process, we create a molecular bond where the rubber molecule actually crosslinks to the other material during the vulcanization process.
